⚽️ Pass symptoms contract with Budapest Honvéd FC

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Former Kansas goalkeeper Melania Pasar has signed a contract to play professionally with Budapest Honvéd FC. Pasar is the 22nd player in program history to play professionally.

Pasar started 38 games in Kansas in his five years with the program, adding up to all 18 games in the 2023 season. Over the course of his career, Pasar posted a 1. 13 goals-against average and an Array777 save percentage. He has spent more than 3300 minutes on the purpose of his career.

In 2023, Pasar was named TopDrawerSoccer’s National Goalkeeper of the Week on Aug. 22 and named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week on Aug. 23.

Originally from Portoroz, Slovenia, a member of the 2019 Big 12 Championship team and earned first-team All-Big 12 academic honors during her final 3 years at KU. He also decided on the 2023 College Sports Communicator district-wide academic team.

Pasar’s career in Kansas ended at the end of the 2023 season and he graduated in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.
