Pandemic tension has forced the cancellation of nearly a hundred operations in the more than two weeks in the northeast.
NHS Grampian bosses say the lack of beds and the “push” of winter activity have forced them to take “last resort” measures in days.
After a sharp increase in the number of coronavirus cases, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire entered Level 3 of scottish government restrictions last night.
Concerns have been expressed that, if transmission continues at this rate, the region could be placed under the fourth highest point of strict measures.
Yesterday, the Scottish government announced that four other people had died by Covid-19 in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, with more than two hundred dead in total.
94 new cases were also identified.
More than 50 other people have recently been hospitalized in the Northeast and are receiving treatment for the disease.

Jamie Weir, a retired NHS Grampian board member and spokesperson for the PACT patient group, said there is little more to do to relieve pressure.
“Clinical still has no selection to do it,” he said.
“We want covid-19 patients and those in emergency to get good enough treatment, which means admissions to the regimen will be postponed. “
Professor Weir said there has traditionally been “virtually no flexibility” in the resources available to hospitals.
As a result, rooms become overloaded when they try to cope with daily activities while caring about coronavirus patients.
They also face an increase in overall illness during the winter, with fitness forums describing plans to “increase” months in advance to help them prepare for a possible influx.
Professor Weir added: “The pandemic has shown that the resources in position cannot cope with the regime’s work, emergencies and the effects of covid-19.
“It’s a lack of resources, beds and everything on all levels.
“NHS Grampian has been at the back of the workforce relative to the rest of Scotland.
“So we are reaching a turning point where there is no flexibility, there is no additional space in the hostel, to deal with patients who may be delayed the procedure. “
“It’s not smart for patients and it’s not smart for those who need to do what they can, but it’s just not possible. “
NHS spokeswoman Grampian said: ‘Since last Tuesday, we have cancelled a maximum of one hundred instances in Grampian, the maximum of which are in ARI.
“Most are due to bed tension and winter activity and Covid.
“The postponement of any formality is a misleading and last-resolution hotel issue that we will have to take and apologize for any suffering caused. “
She added: “We want to make sure of the protection of our patients and at all times, however, the coronavirus has added a whole new size to this.
