Walker-Peters, meanwhile, spent the 2019–20 season on loan at Southampton via the Spurs, and the right-back finished the cross with Fort Ralph Hasenhuttl.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs have agreed on a £15m fee for Hojbjerg to make the switch to North London, while the Saints will fork out £12m to keep Walker-Peters on the books at St Mary’s permanently.
Hojbjerg has turned out 134 times for Southampton across all competitions, while Walker-Peters has only managed 24 first-team appearances for Spurs.
