PRAGUE (AP) – West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek and Leipzig striker Patrik Schick have been quarantined and Friday’s UEFA Nations League match will be lost in Slovakia.
The team said Thursday that the fitness government would isolate itself because they were in close contact with a member of the national team who tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
The two will not go with the team to Slovakia for adjustment in Bratislava despite the two negative coronavirus tests.
Slavia Prague goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar has left the squad at his club’s request as a preventive measure.
It is not known without delay whether players will be available for Monday’s League of Nations off Scotland in the Czech city of Olomouc.
