DICKINSON – Playoff prize money was announced this week through the North Star Athletic Association and was complete for the Blue Hawks. Leading the standings were offensive MVP Noah Sickler, defensive MVP Krew Mathern of Dickinson and coach of the year Pete Stanton.
In addition to the 3 awards, 12 Blue Hawks earned first-team All-NSAA honors. QB Will Madler, RB Braden Zuroff, OL Nathaniel ‘Scotty’ Woodruff, OL Brandon Bennick, OL William Rollins, TE Galen Brantley III, WR Noah Sickler, DL Krew Mathern, LB Nathaniel Jilek, DB Tel Lunde, DB Jayden Heartwell and K Chase Miller.
The second-team All-NSAA was also loaded with Blue Hawks, with OL Carson Lunak, TE Nathan Schumacher, WR Kaden Kuntz, WR Cameron Sheppard, DL Matt Anderson, DL Austin Dennis, LB Brooks Talbot and LB Riley Waters bringing gadgets home. Aranda-Calixto and Joey DeMarco earned an honorable mention, while Alex Praus was named Dickinson State’s Character Champion.
The Blue Hawks’ season continues this weekend as they head to Des Moines, Iowa, to face the No. 2 Grand View University on Saturday, Nov. 25.
