2020 is a wonderful year for dozens of rescued tigers, lions and wolves who are looking for a new life at the Colorado Wildlife Sanctuary as the most sensitive criminals begin to fall.

Wildlife in Need, whose owner, Tim Stark, featured in the documentary series, had all his animals confiscated in September due to dozens of animal welfare violations. Wild Animal Sanctuary has rescued 17 of the zoo’s big cats, a combination of tigers, lions and hybrids and two grizzly bears, who have traded their small chain link enclosures for the sanctuary’s giant herb habitats.

Jeff Lowe, the former commercial spouse of “Tiger King” Joe Exotic, also had to leave the assets in the middle of the series. As a result, 11 wolves, 3 tigers and two bears are now living an unprecedented life of freedom at the sanctuary’s 9,684-acre sanctuary in southern Colorado.
