LeBron James has played in the NBA Finals 10 times: five with the Cleveland Cavaliers, four with the Miami Heat and now one with the Los Angeles Lakers. He won two NBA titles with the Heat and one with the Cavaliers. Still, James has never had an NBA final that began like this year.
On Friday night, James’ Lakers won 124-114 over heat in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Disney World, Florida. This is the first time that an advantage through James has led a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals.
Los Angeles still wants to close the series to win its first NBA name since 2010, but in fact it’s a smart start and with James at the helm, there’s a smart chance the Lakers can reach that momentum.
Here’s a look at the calendar for the rest of the series, the updated odds of NBA names, and forecasts for the rest of this year’s NBA Finals.

Serial prediction
Things are going well for heat in the first two games of the NBA Finals and may not be much better in the coming days.
In Game 1, Miami lost a couple of starters at Goran Dragic Base (left plantar fascia tear) and forward Bam Adebayo (neck tension), any of whom missed Game 2 Without the two, the Heat didn’t play badly, shooting 50. 7% off the box and keeping the game closed, but the Lakers led almost all the way and did enough to prevent him from a return to Miami.
While the Heat’s deficit would possibly be attributed in part to their health, neither would they, as the Lakers play so well. Los Angeles shot 50. 5% of the area at the time of the game, hit 16 numbers in 3 issues and won the rebound war. 44-37.
So while it’s imaginable that the Heat will get a win at some point, it turns out that it’s highly unlikely that they’ll come back and win the series. Lakers have the highest chance of finishing the sweep, proceeding to play at a higher point and making the most of an injury-friendly Heat team.
Los Angeles continues to garner stellar performances from superstar duo James and Anthony Davis, and that shouldn’t stop. James and Davis propelled the Lakers through the playoffs, in which they did not lose more than one game in a series.
However, on Friday night, James and Davis did something extraordinary, even for them: according to the Associated Press, they were the lakers’ first teammates to score at least 30 issues in an NBA Finals game since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal in 2002.
“It’s very humiliating that we can even argue with those great ones,” James said, through the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).
James had 33 issues, nine rebounds and nine assists in The Second Game, while Davis had 32 issues and 14 rebounds. Combined, they pitched 29 out of forty-five on the field.
Although a 2-0 deficit is hard to beat, especially at the high level of the NBA Finals, this was done, in fact, the Heat did so in 2006, when it lost the first two games to the Dallas Mavericks before. bouncing with 4 direct victories to secure the NBA title.
It will be much harder to oppose the Lakers, and if Dragic and Adebayo do not return (or remain limited by their injuries), there is a smart chance that Heat won’t win any other games in the series.
With Bryant and O’Neal in 2002, Los Angeles swept the New Jersey Nets. This time, the Lakers won and won their 17th NBA name to tie the Boston Celtics at the all-time mark.
For now, it’s still LeBron’s number two, but Anthony Davis is the long-term ????
