After a short break in the festive period – the UEFA Champions League returns this week – the festival league arrived at one point in January.
The new UEFA Festival format has divided the crowd, some enthusiasts believe that it is too confusing and others deplore the two additional games that they will have to play.
However, it produced surprises and major clashes, with some clubs in danger of missing the last stages.
The Sporting News runs through where things stand regarding those teams who cannot progress to the knockout phase.

Upon completion of the final league phase matchday, all clubs in positions 25 through 36 in the Champions League table were eliminated from Europe entirely. These clubs were not handed a lifeline in other European competitions, as was the case for so long in the old format.
Coming into Matchweek 8, only two positions below the cut-off line were undetermined, occupied through difficult sides: Dinamo Zagreb and Stuttgart.

The Croatian Zagreb appearance may feel more difficult because they have taken an agitation of AC Milan the last day, but they have not yet controlled to qualify for the Stade É é é é é é é étitis Brugge qualification. Organizations that end in the first 8 of the organization’s phase will be successful in 16 Champions League.
The teams who finish from ninth to 24th will be drawn against each other in the playoff round, playing two-legged ties. The eight winners of those ties will complete the Round of 16.
The festival will then paint as it did before, with two links linked to the single final, which will take its position in Munich.
