Liverpool released the following statement:
Liverpool FC has signed left-back Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos on a long-term contract.
The 24-year-old Greek international, decided three times by his country, joins the Premier League champion after signing a contract at Melwood today.
Tsimikas made his senior debut for Olympiacos in December 2015 and made 86 appearances for the Greek in all competitions.
More than part of the matches were placed in the 2019-20, when the defender helped his club regain the national name with an 18-point margin.
He will now reunite with his new teammates as Jurgen Klopp prepares for the next crusade and defending his Premier League title.

“My brother is a Liverpool fan, so he pushed me to come here,” Tsimikas said after the move through Liverpool was unveiled.
“As a child, I supported Liverpool. For my whole circle of family and brother, I’m happy to point this club out. My brother will be happy when he sees the pictures of me joining Liverpool,” the 24-year-old added. Old.
Coach Jurgen Klopp also shared his views on Tsimikas’ signage: “We’ve been watching Kostas for a long time, we’re very pleased to let you know before returning to work. He has a wonderful attitude to win and compete, I like that mentality. Kostas was part of Olympiacos’ good national fortune and european career. From non-public experience, he knows what it takes to take part in the UEFA Champions League.
Tsimikas forty-five games for Olympiacos last season at all festivals, betting on a very offensive zaguero role not so different from the one who will be invited to play at Liverpool and having shown that he can hit European festivals in the Champions League and Europa League. . Training
However, despite his performances in the last two seasons with Olympiacos, Tsimikas will probably only be used as a reserve option for Andy Robertson at Liverpool. It remains to be noted how long in the field Tsimikas receives from Klopp.
