BARCELONA, Spain (AP) – A Barcelona player tested positive for coronavirus, the club said Wednesday, adding that he is not part of his Champions League team.

Barcelona will face Bayern Munich on Friday in the quarter-finals of portugal’s mini-tournament.

The club stated that the inflamed player had no symptoms of COVID-19 and was in good health. He quarantined himself at home and anyone who was in contact with him would be tested.

He is one of nine players who started pre-season training this week: Pedri, Trinco, Matheus Fernandes, Todibo, Wagué, Aleo, Rafinha, Miranda and Oriol Busquets.
