Watford is reportedly making plans to ask for a huge sum for Ismaila Sarr, who has been linked to a change to Liverpool FC this summer.

Sarr left French club Rennes for Watford before the 2019–20 season and was impressive in his first England appearance. He has scored six goals in 30 competitive matches, adding five in the Premier League. While Watford was relegated to the championship, the top-tier league of English football, Sarr has attracted interest from European clubs.

Liverpool is expected to have a Crystal Palace, Wolves and some of the clubs in Spain and Germany in the race to point Sarr at the existing moving market.

According to Football News Goal, Watford aims to sell Sarr for more than a record $52 million that Everton paid them for Brazilian Richarlison in 2018.

Watford signed Sarr from Rennes for $39 million last summer and the price of the English club striker has increased by just one year. In addition, Watford is in a more powerful position, given that the Senegalese still have four years left of their current contract with the English club.

It is understood that even if Crystal Palace saw Sarr while in Rennes, it is possible that they simply with their way out of the race due to Watford’s main demands.

The 22-year-old extreme deserves to be compatible with Jurgen Klopp’s taste for the game. Other than that, a change to Anfield would mean he could play with his national hero Sadio Mane, who was a Liverpool star player during Klopp’s reign.

Sarr and Mane were components of the same academy in Senegal. The Watford striker has continually revealed that he watches Mane’s videos on YouTube before the matches.

However, Liverpool has made it clear that it is not in a position to make expensive signals this summer amid the pandemic. If Watford does not pay Sarr’s price, Liverpool could point to Brazilian prodigy Talles Magno, who has lately played for the Brazilian Vasco da Gama.

Even if Vasco da Gama values Magno at $56 million, it is expected to settle for Liverpool’s $23 million bid due to the existing currency crisis.
