Skov, a talented specialist in loose kicks, sits with bundesliga.com to talk about life in blocking the coronavirus pandemic, how the Lego structure helps keep you busy at home and the art of giving your kick loose…
bundesliga.com: Robert Skov, what sensations, impressions and considerations did this coronavirus pandemic feel?
Robert Skov: “I am healthy, especially, as am my circle of relatives. The main purpose at this time is for those who enjoy to be healthy and all, so that one day we can continue to live. This time, of course, complicated for everyone, many other people have lost those they enjoyed, so I think it’s been a tricky time for many other people, however, my circle of relatives and I are healthy and, of course, it’s anything, I’m very satisfied about. “
bundesliga.com: You go from a 100 percent workplace at home to a small educational organization with Hoffenheim. What is the day-to-day life of a Bundesliga player?
Skov: “It’s not that there’s much to do outdoors in your space when everything is closed, so I spent two and a half weeks, three weeks in Denmark, where we had a home office, so it was pretty easy to stay at home with my friend and circle of family when I’m here in Germany, it’s a little boring because I’m alone here and I miss my circle of family members. I think it’s simple to stay home, you exercise in those small groups, buy anything in the supermarkets and stay home for the rest of the time.”
bundesliga.com: How do you spend this unforeseen lost time? New or things you couldn’t do before?
Skov: “At first I tried to have plans to take care of myself, so I made my terrace more beautiful, I bought furniture for the terrace for the good weather in Heidelberg, then I built some Lego and confronted my family, my friends and my girlfriend, watch videos and read books.”
bundesliga.com: Can you tell us more about your love of building with Lego?
Skov: “First I built a Bugatti car, so it was a big task. The Lego made an amazing car with details, so about 4,000 pieces. It was a big task and I think the procedure lasted between 25 and 30 hours in total. so it was a pretty long and fun task.”
Look: Skov won the purpose of November with a very good kick!
bundesliga.com: How is the box organized right now?
Skov: “It’s very different, but you can also paint with the smaller main points more than you do in team education, so you have the ability to adjust the small main points and do a lot of overdue education with goalkeepers, so I think education is smart. Coaches do a smart task and we do our best to keep our spirits and grow. Of course, you miss genuine football, one-on-one duels, defense and attack, but right now it’s not the right thing to do, so we’re making the most of the stage and I think the club and coaches have made us a very smart program, so we’re on the lookout.”
bundesliga.com: How do you paint now and how do you get?
Skov: “Of course, tactical things are a little difficult, there are more the little main technical points you can refine. We’ve also noticed videos of ourselves betting and how we need to expand the game, so there’s a lot to do. . Array, but the most productive way to expand tactics is to exercise in the box as a team. We are doing our best to check that they do those things the way because the overall way is not an option right now.”
bundesliga.com: What is the team spirit like at Hoffenheim, since you can’t combine them all at the same time?
Skov: “Yes, I think each and every one helps to maintain the intelligent temperament and work hard in those small groups. Everyone did well, it’s great to see that each and every one comes with a smile and hard-to-be-clear paintings and I think everyone was looking for a little normality in their life. As a footballer, you exercise every day and you have games, so it’s a bit strange to have those 3 weeks of pictures at home, so everyone feels smart to have a little normality, exercise with a ball and not in the house office. So everyone is in a good mood and they’re looking to make the most of the situation.”
bundesliga.com: What would your first season with Hoffenheim look like so far?
Skov: “I’m very pleased to come here to Hoffenheim, to play in an amazing club with wonderful people. Of course, this was complicated at first and now, it’s a big step from the Danish league to the Bundesliga, it’s a pretty different level. I adapt and review to improve each and every day, but I am very pleased to be here and play a lot. It’s very hard to know what you’re getting into when you replace clubs and the purpose is to play, but it’s not that easy, so I’m very lucky to have the confidence of the technical staff and to have a lot of playing time. I’ve received a lot of new reports now, which I hadn’t done before, so I think that’s made me a wonderful player in the last 8 to nine months.”
bundesliga.com: You’ve proven to be a flexible and flexible player. Do you know how many positions you’ve played this season?
Skov: “I played a little back, a little back, also forward on the right side, so a little movement, but it’s football and today’s football is a little more flexible than 10 years and you have to do your best, whatever the position, for the team.”
bundesliga.com: You came to the league as a classic offensive risk and the most sensible goalscorer in the Danish league. How big has the transition been for you, you’re no longer a center forward or in the band?
Skov: “It was a challenge and something different, but I can also see that with the way we play, it would be more natural for me to play in the extreme position because we played 3-5-2 in many games and played as extreme, classic extreme. It was an opportunity to play and gain a lot of experience, so I went with my brain open and tried to do my best. Of course, it was a complicated procedure at first, but it went well and I’m just looking to do my best.”
bundesliga.com: Do you have to relearn to play as a left-back?
Skov: “There are a lot of new things to know, things I had no idea about. I think it’s great as a footballer to expand this game and when you play in attack, you know what hurts the defense when you go out and defend. smart players.”
bundesliga.com: How far did another Dane, Jacob Bruun Larsen, have on the Hoffenheim team?
Skov: “It’s great. He’s a smart friend and we really appreciate the time we spent together. We have a lot of perspectives on football, so we communicate a lot about football, however, outside of football it’s smart to be the right age. a guy to be around and, not so much right now, watch a football game, a movie and just communicate about anything. It’s great and I think it’s been smart for him and me to have us.”
Skov: “One opposite to one, it can harm other people, it is brilliant one opposite to one. His technique, his ability to cross and put other people in position or shoot themselves. I think he’s strong here and we’re going to see that he’s evolved a lot in Dortmund and now it’s time for him to show what he’s learned. I’m sure with more minutes and meeting other players, he’ll be a wonderful player here at Hoffenheim.”
bundesliga.com: Bruun Larsen has even been shown as a hairdresserArray..
bundesliga.com: What do you think Hoffenheim can do with the resumption of the Bundesliga season?
Skov: “It’s a complicated consultation because we’re a little dark. We don’t know much until the DFL or DFB says what’s going to happen. I hope we go back to playing football and finish the season, but we don’t know.” if and when we will play. I hope we play and of course it will be difficult to play without spectators, it will be a new challenge, but we will do our best to get smart effects in the last 8 games.”
bundesliga.com: Three goals and 4 assists are an impressive attack count, helped with a brilliant left foot shooting strategy. Is that something you’re running on in particular?
bundesliga.com: What grass does almost all the stopped pieces of the team have for you, as a young player and newcomer to the team?
Skov: “I think when you come as a new player you have to earn the respect of your teammates, I don’t think anyone at the club knows who I was or my qualities. So you have to prove in education that you are.” able to shoot and then win acceptance from coaches and players. It was the same thing in Copenhagen, you have to prove that it is your position to take and then you have to meet in the matches.”
bundesliga.com: Do you have any dreams or goals for the future?
Skov: “This is not the time to dream much. I think a lot about things, about life and what you need to accomplish and be like a human being. How you need to treat other people and how you need other people to see you This is not the time or time to dream a lot, you think about what’s vital to you and when you don’t see your circle of family members or your girlfriend, you have a mind you don’t have because you’re used to seeing them. to play football, we’ll dream of smart things.”
