“Wild About Bungay” will be late in October – pre-publication orders are invited to a special pre-publication award.

Those who request copies before October 21 will get the e-book for a special value of $10, up to the post-publication value of $12. 50.

It occurs in reminiscence of Jasmine Lingwood, who died in 2012 at the age of 62.

Wild About Bungay will feature more than 250 color photographs taken through local amateur photographers who were sent to the online page of the same name, as created shortly before Lingwood’s death.

Ms. Lingwood played a decisive role in reforming the Bungay branch of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust with her idea.

Over the years, the website, which was created to obtain photographs for the book, has gained thousands of large-scale photographs of flowers and wildlife in and around the city, as well as the changing environment of the seasons.

In addition, two of Ms. Lingwood’s four brothers, bungay’s citizens Christopher and Terry Reeve, took over the task and produced the e-book in her memory, and the proceeds went to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

The brothers hope that the eBook will serve as an appropriate tribute to their younger sister, who has spent several years working with dedication and commitment to support, publicize and wildlife.

Terry Reeve said: “This will be a fitting tribute to Jasmine, who is also a committed member of Friends of the Earth. “

The design paintings in the eBook are made through Hatty Leith, through his artistic studio Scribblyroo, with more than a hundred photographs through the outstanding local photographer Frances Crickmore.

Meanwhile, the justgiving online page, which was created to control the prices of generating the eBook so that all cash from profits can pass to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust charity, remains open.
