Illuminated through lanterns, you can walk among the twinkling flames and next to majestic majestic trees from one amazing to the other.
Set in a soundscape to motivate the senses, the illuminated path will show you its fiery interpretation of stars and spheres as opposed to a night sky background, as well as other elements of flora and fantasy.
The one-hour discovery trail has been specially designed to make the wonderful outdoors magical and for all members of the family circle to enjoy.
A rare example of an 18th-century landscape garden, Gibside created with stunning perspectives in mind. The site is the vision of a coal-rich person named George Bowes and his private retirement, but now it can be enjoyed by all.
The lawn includes a tree-lined avenue, a Palladian chapel and a greenhouse in a nonviolent forest.
The wonderful ruin of Gibside Hall on the lawn was once inhabited by heiress Mary Eleanor Bowes.
Gibside is the best position to escape the hustle and bustle of trendy life on 243 acres (600 acres) of gardens, forests and fields, the best way to return to nature and observe wildlife.
