According to the Daily Mail, Everton’s reported target, Branislav Ivanovic, underwent an attack on West Bromwich Albion.
The former Chelsea defender is reported to be escaping to West Brom on Monday.
The 36-year-old Serb is lately a loose agent, as he left Zenit Saint Petersburg of the Russian Premier League.
It appears the veteran defender has to turn down an offer from Everton to move on to West Brom from Slaven Bilic.
The three-time Premier League champion with Chelsea told the Republic in August 2020 that he had “received an offer” from Everton (click here for more information).
Good signing for West Bromwich Albion?
Ivanovic has surpassed his peak and is now 36 years old, however, the former Chelsea star has a lot of delight at West Brom.
The Baggies will play in the Premier League this season after winning promotion to the championship.
Coach Bilic will know how difficult it will be to stay in the division, and Ivanovic will be a costume leader and make a big difference in the big moments.
