A rich businessman annoyed by workplace paintings ‘excited’ by the hum of crime

Whether it’s raining or sunny, the Echo newsletter brings the latest news directly to your inbox.

A wealthy businessman who now faces a lengthy criminal conviction for trespassing annoyed by the working-life regime can reveal echo.

Chester Crown Court learned how Thomas Mee, 42, helped organize thefts at the homes of other rich and disgusting people across the country.

Mee, along with Vincent Ball, 52, and John Barlow, 58, reside in Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire between January 2018 and October 2019.

Liverpool men stole about 500,000 euros in goods from the addresses.

The transport included valuable pieces of the family circle and left the owners heartbroken.

The men Raheem Sterling’s Cheshire Mansion and Jamiroquai star in Jay Kay’s home in Buckinghamshire.

Prosecutor Simon Parry revealed astonishing main points about how Mee used stairs for the balconies on the first floor.

Mee then photographed luxury pieces as wallets and submitted them for sale to associates.

On one occasion, Mee gave a Louis Vuitton shawl to a partner.

His criminal frenzy ended last October when the three men were arrested by police after Bury FC owner Steve Dale broke into Prestbury’s home.

Mee, a well-known member of the city’s business network, started his own demolition business in 2005.

In recent years, Mee has overseen primary cleanup projects in the city.

He is director of Mees Demolition Group (1.11.17 to 19.10.18) and Mees Demolition Manchester Limited (20.6.18 to 7.8.19).

Mee seems to have had other advertising relationships since she resigned from Mee Demolition Manchester in August last year.

Now, a former Mee associate told ECHO that Mee was upset in the day-to-day business world.

The man, who asked not to be called, said: “He has taken great risks. He mixed up with a bad crowd and his call came here for the wrong reasons.

“Thomas had money, big cars and a big house. But he discovered the world of demolition and genuine properties boring.”

“I was excited about the crime and the criminals. He gave her a buzz, don’t sit at a desk.”

Mee has been seen driving through Liverpool city centre in a high-powered Lamborghini.

On Friday, the Chester Crown Magistrates’ Court heard that police had discovered 125,000 euros in their Beetham Tower apartment in central Liverpool.

Cash seized and is now the subject of ongoing legal proceedings. Mee claims that the cash is “legitimate”.

ECHO understands that Mee, through its role as a demolition contractor, is close to several genuine Merseyside real estate developers.

In 2007, he gave an interview to the Daily Post, when he spoke of his successful business career.

He told the Post that he set up his own business in 2005 and was on the verge of a turnover of about 2 million pounds.

He said: “My bank told me that it would take up to six years for someone to get to where we are today.”

In 2017, Mee spoke to the media after the demolition of the well-known Nation nightclub in Wolstenholme Square.

He said: “We know that all eyes will be on the refurbishment of this iconic Liverpool square.

“Being so close to Liverpool ONE and the Albert Dock, Wolstenholme Square will be a position to live once the progression is complete. Liverpool is booming right now, with a call for urban life at a record level.

“We are no strangers to paintings in the centre of our hometown, however, it is increasingly a privilege to participate in the redesign of Liverpool’s face for generations.”

In January 2018, the Mees Group announced that it had acquired a waste treatment plant at Acorn Way in Bootle.

Last summer, a chimney devastated tons of infested waste that had accumulated after it became a safe haven for dumpsters.

Mee, from Queens Drive, Liverpool, Ball of Ranworth Place, Liverpool and Barlow, who are homeless, have pleaded guilty to the burger-making conspiracy.

They have been on remand and will be sentenced on Monday.
