I wrote that I had even warned that the match against Livingston would be a bit tricky, and he was right. Although we won, rightly so, and we’re in the draw for tonight’s semi-finals. But that doesn’t mean we can forget about other mediocre player demonstrations. The only ones to receive a passing score were the hero of the hat-trick Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn.
Once at the back, the rest looked quite fragile, especially the defense, which seemed to crumble under any kind of pressure. I’m afraid to say it, but we don’t look like a title-winning team. Without CCV, Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor and even Luis Palma, we look a lot like a normal team. You don’t accept it as such with others.
Brendan told us that Matt O’Riley had been in poor health all week, so maybe he stayed put. Stephen Welsh was hired at the last minute due to the existing scenario at the CCV and Kyogo had to settle for a place on the bench.
Livingston is a bad team. They’re in danger of relegation at the other end for a reason, but they made them look like a halfway decent team. This is a sign of great concern.
Of course, we’re in the semi-finals, and still for two trophies, by a small margin. But that doesn’t stop us from asking questions. Hopefully Reo, Calmac and CCV will be back after the overseas break and we can even see Carter. Vickers in the team this weekend faced St Johnstone at Celtic Park.

That draw against Perth at Paradise at the end of August last year was the start of a finale in which Celtic lost points unnecessarily. Hopefully, this is over now, because we can’t allow it to happen again. Bring Kyopass back into the squad and let’s move on to the foreign break in style.
Because the Rangers are the step in Ibrox. . . Attractive!
