Aberdeen striker Duk has been featured in Cape Verde’s World Cup qualifiers against Angola and Eswatini.
Goal hero Duk has flown in to meet the foreign team as Cape Verde kicks off its 2026 World Cup qualifying in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Cape Verde will kick off their crusade with a home clash against Angola at the Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde, Praia, on Thursday.
They will face Eswatini at the Bombela Stadium, Mbombela, on Tuesday.
Cape Verde is in Group D with Cameroon, Angola, Libya, Eswatini and Mauritius.
Duk failed to recreate last season’s prolific goalscoring form when he scored 18 goals in all competitions for Aberdeen.
The 23-year-old has scored 3 goals this season.
However, Duk has scored in two of his three appearances: a 4-2 Premiership loss to Motherwell and a 2-2 draw against PAOK in the Europa Conference League.
Duk scored a very good opener against Group G leaders PAOK in Greece.

Cape Verde has already qualified for the final phase of the African Cup of Nations to be held in Ivory Coast.
The final phase of the AFCON will be held from January 13 to February 11 next year.
The Scottish Premiership will enter a two-week winter break on January 2 and return on January 19.
If Duk is, as expected, included in the squad for the AFCON final, it could leave Aberdeen manager Barry Robson without the striker for up to 3 weeks.
