(BRIEF) ABP Southampton recently held its first charity competition evening at the Port of Southampton’s Ocean Cruise Terminal, raising a whopping £3000 at ANDYSMANCLUB (AMC), its charity of the year. More than 180 participants across 22 teams, including consumers and employees, attended the event, which included a mix of trivia games, sweepstakes and optional wildcards to spice things up for quiz teams. The fundraiser illustrates ABP Southampton’s commitment to promoting intellectual conditioning initiatives, with proceeds going towards GAC’s important paintings offering free games. This was the first charity competition evening held at the Ocean Cruise terminal in the Port of Southampton. More than 180 people in 22 groups attended the event, with a clever combination of visitor tables and workers, plus a team from ANDYSMANCLUB. The evening included a prize draw, in which consumers and ABP Southampton’s social team donated prizes; Quizz groups also had the option to play a wild to double their numbers into a circular of their choice, which charges groups £10 to play!
The next charity fundraiser is the Southampton Marathon, where we have asked all ABP runners to reach out to their circle of family and friends to build up our fundraising levels for ANDYSMANCLUB (AMC).
AMC is ABP Southampton’s charity of the year. The charity is a men’s suicide prevention charity offering peer-to-peer teams across the UK and online.
