The race for Mario Hermoso is heating up as Juventus have an explicit interest in bringing the defender into their team. Hermoso, whose contract with Atletico Madrid is about to expire, looks very likely to leave as the club struggles to retain him.
Juventus have been closely monitoring Hermoso’s situation this season and are keen to secure his services. However, they face a tough festival from AC Milan and Aston Villa, reports Calciomercato.
Villa, who have been looking for a Champions League spot lately, can lure Hermoso with a offer if he achieves his goal. Meanwhile, AC Milan are actively looking to overtake Juventus and secure the defender for Serie A. After enjoying a more potent season and overtaking Juventus in the league standings, the Bianconeri now face a difficult task to become Hermoso’s favourite destination.
