AC Milan will reportedly have to sack coach Stefano Pioli.
This came after yesterday’s 2-1 loss to Inter Milan, which showed their neighbours as Serie A champions.
Milan won the Scudetto two seasons ago under Pioli but failed to protect their crown last year, when the name won through Napoli.
They were the team that came closest to rivalling Inter this year, but yesterday’s win gave the Nerazzuri a very good lead of 17 points.
Transfer to guru Fabrizio Romano that Pioli’s fate is already sealed.
He spoke to X to write: “Stefano Pioli will be sacked by AC Milan at the end of the season despite public statements after the Derthrough.
“AC Milan is already looking for a new coach. “
Pioli has been on the brink of collapse in Milan on several occasions since his arrival in 2019.
Last season, it seemed that his fate was sealed and Antonio Conte would take the bench, but no resolution came to fruition.
Conte would be interested in managing Milan, Juventus or Napoli if he needs to take charge again next season.

It is not yet clear who is the favourite to take the helm in Milan.
Thiago Motta is the most sought-after coach in Serie A, with Bologna in fourth place lately.
However, Milan are expected to rival rumours about him from Juventus and Manchester United.
Inter’s victory sparked some wild scenes at San Siro.
The name of the Scudetto sparked fireworks from enthusiasts who then headed to the iconic Duomo Cathedral to celebrate well into the night.
Speaking about his long run after the game, Pioli said: “I don’t know.
“(Inter coach Simone) Inzaghi seemed to be suffering 14 months ago according to the media and look what he achieved after that.
“I’m satisfied here, I’m running well and the team has room for improvement.
“We’ll see where we are at the end of the season and talk about it. “
