AC Milan are leading the search for Kyle Walker, he told ESPN after telling Manchester City they were looking for him to leave the club.
Walker stayed out of the team for the 8-0 victory of the FA Cup opposed to the city of Salford on Saturday after informing the Txiki Begiristain football director who needs to move in the January window.
The 34 -year -old was ready to register at Bayern Munich in 2023. He is under contract at the Etihad stadium until 2026, but a source told ESPN that Milan is open to provide an agreement to Walker until 2027.
“I said now that it was a market consultation,” Guardiola said.
“He is a player with his physics, when he concentrates, he is unstoppable as a direct arrival, he is a first elegance player, if he is intelligent, he can play one, two, 3 of the 4 years older as a professional.
“I never see a player with those physical situations in my career and, of course, never, never, I never need a player, but he will have to have an agreement with the club and I’m sorry, I never worried all the players.
Guardiola revealed that the uncertainty surrounding Walker’s long career meant he had been excluded from the squad to face Salford. City face Brentford in the Premier League on Tuesday and Guardiola says Walker may miss out again.
“I don’t know, it depends on how we are going to train, I don’t know,” Guardiola said.
“I think it was transparent all the time, if you need to explore, the club will explore, and you will have to decide, not me. This is not my decision.
“The stage is another now, however, the Move window will end at the end and I don’t know what will happen. “
