Pulisic posted pictures on Instagram of himself and the Milan team celebrating after the match and was flooded with abusive comments.
There were also plenty of messages for the American, such as from his Milan teammate Theo Hernandez, who wrote: “Puliiii, I am your security. “
Luca Pellegrini was sent off in the 67th minute following two consecutive yellow cards – all for a foul on Pulisic – and Matteo Guendouzi received a straight red card in stoppage time for reacting badly to a foul by the USA’s star player, who also sent off. reserve at the time of the incident.
