Actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd died following an incident in Atlanta, Georgia.

Clockers star, who has given the impression in several Spike Lee films, died Saturday.

Atlanta police discovered Byrd’s unanswered mendacity while responding to reports of a shooting. The workers’ emergency medical corps pronounced him dead from gunshot wounds to the back at the site.

Homicide detectives are lately investigating his death.

Byrd was born in Georgia and was also nominated for the 2003 Tony Award for Best Actor for his role in Black Bottom, august Wilson’s renaissance in Ma Rainey.
