Brendan Rodgers has played down questions about whether he knew Celtic by signing Adam Idah as a target in January.
But the brutally honest boss conceded that there was some business that didn’t come off for the Parkhead side in the winter window. But asked about who had the final decision on signing the Ireland international, Rodgers issued a blunt response. Asked on Sky Sports if Idah was a player he identified, he quickly responded: “It doesn’t really matter, what it is about is getting the work done.
