PAST AND FUTURE: A teenager Adam Idah in the colors of Corinthian Boys (L) and Celtic Hoops (R).
Cork club College Corinthians will gain €807,000 from the sale of former player Adam Idah to Celtic.
The Irish striker arrived at his club for the first time six years and ten years later, when he left for Norwich City. Part of the terms included a resale clause.
This was triggered after Brendan Rodgers switched last season’s successful loan period to a permanent transfer, believed to be worth £8. 5m with a few other millions available via add-ons.
Idah remembers with wonderful affection his time at Corinthians, where he enjoyed good luck and represented the club in the Cork interleague and in the Irish teams.
The club caters for children and women to seniors and has evolved into Corinthians Park.
A grant from the National Lottery, along with a wonderful fundraising campaign, is helping to fund a large-scale Astro location.
This windfall, which will likely be spread out in stages, will aid in your efforts.
