Peterson and Antonio Gibson won the team’s top first-team representatives in Practice on Tuesday, Kyle Stackpole reports of the team’s official website.
We also saw reports that Bryce Love and J.D. McKissic were working with the geters starteders, in Love’s case, that’s when Peterson had a veteran-free day. The 35-year-old is still the favorite to start with and the maximum haul in Week 1, however, in effect, he will have the maximum of paintings on the committee, and potentially in a committee where 3 or 4 RB will be shot. Gibson is an upside-down game for sophisticated patient managers, potentially combining size, speed and ability to capture passes in a singles package. Certainly, the rookie does not enjoy much as a ball carrier, while Peterson is one of the greatest of all time in this position.
