Raja Casablanca of Morocco will receive Egyptian Zamalek on Sunday in the first leg of the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League
CAF club football resumes this weekend, five months late due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the 2019/2020 Champions League semi-finals in Morocco.
Casablanca, Wydad and Raja groups welcome Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek respectively on Saturday and Sunday and back games next weekend.
The latest in a bachelor fight is scheduled for November 6 at a Moroccan or Egyptian venue to make a decision and champions will pocket $2. 5 million (2. 1 million euros).

Morocco
The semi-finals and finals of a caf Confederation Cup maiden match, the African Europa League, will be played exclusively in Morocco.
Local clubs Renaissance Berkane and Hassania Agadir meet in Casablanca on 19 October, followed by the pyramids of Egypt opposite Guinea’s Horoya in Rabat the following day.
Rabat will host the final on 25 October and a new call-up will be recorded in a trophy first played in 2004 and which won a record 3 times through Tunisian club CS Sfaxien.
Uganda
Afghan goalkeeper Ismail Watenga has tried the three-time South African winner Mamelodi Sundowns.
He was at the Pretoria club through compatriot Denis Onyango, the current first-choice scorer of the 2016 African champions Sundowns.
Watenga will face the Onyango festival, Zambia’s Kennedy Mweene and locals Ricardo Goss and Jody February if he joins south Africa’s ten-time Premiership champions.

Egyptian Premier League club Ismaily has had a depressing season, ranked 12th in the 18-team league after 10 wins in 32 games.
But much higher costs will soon be pocketed than those presented at the CAF Champions League, the elite festival of African clubs.
Champions League winners get $2. 5 million, $3. 5 million less than the Arab Champions Cup semi-finalists Ismaily will win if they win the competition.
Zambia
Zambian striker Mwape Musonda traded one club out of place for another when switching from Black Leopards in South Africa to Hatta in the United Arab Emirates.
The leopards needed the playoffs for their prestige in the South African Premiership, while Hatta was at the last minute in the Arabian Gulf League when the season was canceled due to coronavirus.
Mwape won the Golden Boot Premiership Award with goals two seasons ago and his playoff goals were critical to the Leopards’ survival.
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Renaissance climbed the most sensible Linafoot Ligue 1 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo after a 1-0 home win over Racing Club in a Kinshasa derby.
