Borussia Dortmund’s purpose machine, Erling Braut Haaland, connected with a transfer to Barcelona this week after presidential candidate Emili Rousaud’s side said he could reach an agreement for the 20-year-old.
Josep Maria Minguella, who is Rousaud’s advisor, said Hala and could enroll in the club if Rousaud is elected president on January 24. He told AS: “We know all the situations and if we win, the next day I will call Mino Raiola and settle for those situations, I have already informed him.
However, the forward’s agent was quick to respond to speculation. Mino Raiola told German TV channel Sport1 that he had not even been in contact with Rousaud.

Haaland won the 2020 Golden Boy Award in December, awarded to the under-21 player in the European leagues, for his phenomenal performances in Dortmund.

The forward joined the club in December 2019 after Red Bull Salzburg and then scored 16 goals in 18 appearances for the Bundesliga team in 2020 across all competitions.

Rousaud is not the only presidential candidate to make big promises before the January election. Joan Laporta, who aspires to president of Barca for the time being, believes she can convince Lionel Messi to stay at the club if she wins.
Messi asked to leave last summer and is out of contract at the end of the season, but Laporta told AS that he believes the captain may be convinced that he will extend his tenure at Camp Nou.

The next president will have many key problems to deal with after taking the game late next month, namely Messi’s long-term and the club’s long-term movement strategy.
