Villarreal has shown that he has completed the signing of Spanish under-21 defender Jorge Cuenca del Barcelona.
Cuenca has been a regular in the groups of young Spanish foreigners in his young career and has now signed a five-year contract with the Yellow Submarine, which he supported as a child.

As part of the deal, the 21-year-old will now sign up for Segunda de Almería’s promotion hopes as part of a one-season loan deal.
Although he is originally from the Spanish capital Madrid – where Cuenca began his career betting on Alcorcón – he has been a Villarreal fan founded on the fact that his father’s futsal team wore yellow, so he adapted the club as his favorite team in La Liga.
Cuenca’s appearance with Barcelona came here in the Copa del Rey clash against Cultural and Leonesa in October 2018, having played in the club’s B in recent seasons before his release.
