Alabama lost four key players in the first circular of the 2020 NFL Draft: Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was No.five to the Dolphins, Jedrick Wills’ offense was No.10 to the Browns while open receivers Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy were No.12 and 14 to the Raiders and Broncos.
But it is not mandatory for Crimson Tide, who ended up on the scoreboard in attack last year, to press the yetton reset button.Quarterback Mac Jones 4 games in 2019 and released 14 touchdowns versus just 3 interceptions.Jones is the veteran among Alabama scouts, but he would possibly have to push Bryce Young back to retain the starting lineup. No matter who is under the center, it will not be mandatory to adjust as much as one might think.
Gunship baseman Najee Harris may be the most important decision in the backfield after running for 1,224 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns overall last year, adding thirteen on the ground. While Ruggs and Jeudy left, lead catcher Devonta Smith beat the NFL and could be one of the most productive failures in school football after accumulating 1,256 yards and 14 touchdowns in 68 junior receptions.Although Smith is likely to become the No.1 receiver, Jaylen Waddle may be in a position for the biggest jump.2019 given Alabama’s intensity in position, with more goals available, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the junior recover in a big way.
In the other aspect of the ball, defensive side Patrick Surtain II is one of the few experienced players returning to high school, devoted himself as a sophoble sophoble sophoble sophoble sophoble student, recording two interceptions, 8 passes and 3 forced loose balls.Trevon Diggs and Xavier McKinney in the NFL, Surtain can have many more everyday jobs this year.
Alabama ranks third in our most sensible preseason 25.Here’s this breakdown:
Tua Tagovailoa is gone, but the attack deserves to be among the most productive in the country, regardless of the undercover player in QB. Mac Jones spent 327 yards and three touchdowns in the win over Michigan, plus five-star quarterback Bryce Young. In defense, supporter Dylan Moses returns after missing last season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
