Alabama Football Recruiting 2024: Top Remaining 2024 Recruits, Class Predictions

While most of Alabama’s 2024 drafting elegance is already assured, there are some notable intrigues to keep an eye on now that the official era of domestic signings is open.

The entire Crimson Tide offseason continued when Nick Saban strangely announced his retirement on Jan. 10. The 72-year-old had been on the show since 2007, making it one of the most dominant dynasties in school football history.

Kalen DeBoer has the unenviable task of shadowing Saban; He has a solid background in creating programs. He led Fresno State to an Array500 record in his first season in 2020, then won 10 games the following year.

In two seasons in Washington, DeBoer went 25-3 with a Pac-12 championship and an appearance in the College Football Playoff championship game in January.

DeBoer’s ability to bring his taste that worked so well in Washington and put it to effect in front of the SEC festival will be one of the biggest stories in school football next season.

National Signature Day Predictions

Initially, when Saban left, it was feared that this would affect the new recruiting class.

Almost after the decision, 5-star receivers Ryan Williams and Jaime Ffrench and 4-star tight end Amari Niblack were disconnected from the Crimson Tide.

Niblack made a temporary commitment to Texas after reopening his recruitment. Ffrench is a member of the Class of 2025, so DeBoer and his team still have time to convince him to stay. There is a lot of festival for its services.

Texas A&M appears to be a strong player for Ffrench. The Jacksonville native also recently posted a picture of himself with LSU co-offensive coordinators Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton when they visited him at Mandarin (Fla.) High School.

Despite the festival of other SEC schools, Alabama is also making wonderful efforts with French. He has met with training staff and plans to make a stopover on campus.

Williams recommitted to Alabama on Jan. 24. He was also considering Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M, so that was a huge win for DeBoer to keep him in Tuscaloosa and away from the Crimson Tide’s biggest SEC rivals.

Even with a few defections from the elegance of 2024, DeBoer has used his connections in Washington to add high-quality talent. Noah Carter, a four-star running back originally signed by the Huskies, returned to Alabama after making an official appointment. stopover in Tuscaloosa.

There is no concern at this point that the loss of Saban will have a profound effect on the team’s ability to succeed. The 2024 Crimson Tide category is No. 2 in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

DeBoer has an excellent track record of succeeding at a major program. Now, he gets to work at a place with seemingly unlimited resources to marry his scheme with elite talent at every position.
