All Celtic enthusiasts say the same about Callum McGregor and James Forrest after Hearts’ win

It is at this level of the season that Celtic will call upon their most experienced players to cross the finish line in this race for the name.

We already reported this morning on how Matt O’Riley simply shone in his role in Celtic’s win over Hearts when he performed another wonderful performance for Brendan Rodgers yesterday.

In truth, all the players who donned this blouse were at Celtic Park and enthusiasts can now look forward to a relaxing Sunday afternoon in which they await an Ibrox mistake where Rangers take on Kilmarnock this lunch.

However, all the enthusiasts are humming after Celtic posted a message on the social media channel X Evening asking them what they thought of the functionality of Callum McGregor and James Forrest as opposed to Hearts:

? How were those two today?! ? #CELHEA | #cinchPrem | ? #COYBIG pic. twitter. com/2rS7xo0LdF

And Celtic enthusiasts have been praising the legendary duo Hoops.

As I said before, Celtic will turn to McGregor and Forrest to help them win this title and in the afternoon they faced Hearts perfectly.

McGregor scored 7. 9 on Fotmob and Forrest scored a glowing 7. 6 via the football statistics site.

But statistics tell part of the story. Looking at the players and the effort they put in says a lot about the other side and those Celtic enthusiasts had no doubts about how they felt about their two heroes after yesterday’s Hearts win.

Two Celtic types, faithful from start to finish. In my opinion, Jamesy is quite identified.

This fan is extremely happy with the quality of his performances:

Another idea for McGregor to be more productive again after his recent injury:

Great, pleased to see Cal Mac despite everything recover from his injury ?

“Born winners”, this fan:

Born ?? Winners

And he had only one word to say about the two Celtic legends:

Notable. https://t. co/bkn0efwCIq

And there were many, many more answers, just the ones that were on the wire. It’s wonderful to see Forrest gain well-deserved popularity after what he has brought to Celtic, only in the league but also in the Scottish Cup.

Goals against Aberdeen and Dundee gave Celtic a brace this season and McGregor’s same ever-present power in midfield was exceptional yesterday.

With two Glasgow Derbys still to be played this season, you can bet that any of those icons will have a say in helping Celtic get a positive result against our rivals as the season heads towards a thrilling climax.
