All the features of EA College Football 25 revealed, including a great return

On Friday, May 17, EA unveiled the trailer and full feature set of EA College Football 25 in a press release.

While there are a multitude of features to explore, the one that has caught the attention of countless NCAA Football Series enthusiasts and me is the return to the “Team Builder” feature.

We’ll get to that in more detail, but here’s what we learned from the press release. The game will be released on July 19 and will be available exclusively on PlayStation Five and Xbox Series X/S.

Here’s a look at the trailer and I’ll be honest. It’s fantastic:

College Football 25 will feature Campus IQ. The concept is described as “a set of features that bring to life the true intensity of school football through open, fast-moving play across all 134 FBS schools across all game spaces. “

This overview gives us more detail, but there’s enough to get us excited.

College Football 25 will feature the return of Dynasty and Road to Glory. Dynasty Mode is the school football edition of the franchise mode, and it looks like it’s gained a decent spotlight.

Dynasty mode allows you to create a trainer as you resume a program. You’ll want to rent training equipment and recruit athletes as soon as at the best school or through the moving portal.

The recruiting engine in NCAA football is incredible, and there will be an in-depth look at how that procedure works in 25 school football.

There are training archetypes that are controlled through skill trees that resemble the control functions of Madden’s franchise mode. Ultimately, you need to advise your team on the new 12-team MFC.

The new feature of the Dynasty mode is the return to the Team Builder site, which allows you to create your own football program.

I wanted to see it again and didn’t expect EA to do it. We’ll have to see if it has as many layers as before, but seeing the feedback from the features is great. I hope to get a first look at it before launch which provides a review of the features available.

Road to Glory is the career mode for single players. It allows users to take a single player as a player and mentor them throughout their school career in hopes of winning the Heisman Trophy.

You’ll want to manage your player’s GPA, earn your coach’s trust, and try to earn the Heisman on your journey. You can also put your created player on the moving portal if you replace schools.

We’ll also see a new mode called the Road to the College Football Playoff. Based on the description, it looks like a ranked, cross-platform, and online competitive mode. The press describes it like this:

“Discover a new way to play competitively across all consoles in the school football playoffs. Will you set up your university or a school of strength to climb in the polls?Rise through the ranks by provoking difficult parties to conflict and getting the votes you want to advance and raise. Divisions. Fight your way to the playoffs and fight for the national championship.

Ultimate Team returns to the world of school football video games. NCAA Football had collector mode before the series was canceled. However, EA has grown the format exponentially over the past decade.

We know the mode will feature existing high school football stars and legends, and it makes sense to expect challenges, theme packs, and more in this iteration of the tried-and-true Collector Mode concept.

From a natural playing point of view, College Football 25 will have some similarities to Madden, but there are apparent reasons to expect differences. College Football 25 will feature many infractions and school-specific playbooks.

Player ratings “fluctuate in each match” and EA states that the groups are hierarchical. The game’s passing mechanics have been adapted to school football.

A new game mode that I’m excited about is the “Attrition System”.

EA describes it as follows:

“As the bumps pile up, the wear and tear with the Wear system

I hope it works as described, and if it does, it will be included in Madden 25. Fatigue and managing injury hazards are difficult to master in sports video games, so it will be appealing to see which modes are present.

Pre-snap popularity is a key characteristic. It seems like it’s designed to separate experienced players from young rookies. I hope this feature or concept makes its way to Madden.

The Homefield Advantage concept seems like a continuation of Madden’s M-factors. I love it in franchise mode and it’s a logical continuation in College Football 25. It can be said that the effects are even more powerful in school players.

Atmosphere is a component of immersion related to College Football 25. According to EA, chants, battle songs, and mascots will be used for the most productive shows.

There will be two commentators in the game. Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer and David Pollack will commentate most of the games. However, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will take the mic for “all the notable matchups. “

Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
