Greek Sdna claims Olympiacos is showing interest in Southampton’s Sofiane Boufal forward.
The Greek champions are for one end and have been linked in recent days to Garry Rodrigues of Fenerbahce and Georges-Kevin N’koudou of Besiktas.
However, Sdna claims to have a goal in mind, and Boufal of Southampton is expected to be on his list of finalists, the player would be willing to continue his career in Greece after an era combined with the Premier League club.
Boufal needs 1. 5 million euros according to Olympiacos’ season, but the challenge for Erythrolefki is that Southampton is paying 4 million euros for the 26-year-old, and they are not in a position to fall below.
The Greek giants would be offering more than 2 million euros for the former Lille players and discussions between the two sides are expected to continue in the coming days.
He played 70 Premier League games for Southampton, but scored 3 goals. His contract with the Saints expires at the end of June 2021.
