The 27-year-old joins the Giallorossi after spending the first part of the campaign on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray, for whom he scored one goal and added in 19 appearances.
Angelino has five of Galatasaray’s six organizational matches in the Champions League, but has only played eight times in the Turkish top flight, with his last appearance coming in late October.
As a result, Leipzig called Angelino from Turkey before sending him to Serie A, and Roma would like to pay €5 million (£4. 3 million) to sign Angelino permanently this summer.

Angelino has made a century of appearances for Leipzig since signing an initial loan deal in 2020, registering 12 goals and 29 assists, falling down the pecking order a few years ago and missing the 2022-23 season on loan with Hoffenheim.
Prior to his move to the Bundesliga, Angelino, whose contract with Leipzig expires in 2025, was registered at Manchester City for 8 years, winning two EFL Cups, but only played 15 times for the reigning European champions.
