Big Ten postponed their season in the first place due to the COVID-19 pandemic before declaring their return, with the new schedule starting On October 24.
Voters were asked to come with convention groups in the preseason poll, but they were eliminated in the coming weeks. With the schedule set, this means that the groups are back in the leaderboard as they prepare for the start of their season. .
This week, the electorate added Ohio State (No. 6), Penn State (No. 10), Wisconsin (No. 19) and Michigan (No. 23). Oregon also ranked 14th in the Pac-12.
It will be almost a month before one of those groups sees the countryside, but we can start comparing them to the rest of the nation.
On the field, there’s no game more important than Kansas State’s 38-35 win over Oklahoma, No. 3.
Skylar Thompson pitched for 334 yards and four touchdowns, helping his team triumph over a 21-point deficit in the second half with 24 unanswered points.

Although the Bulldogs were impressive Mike Leach, the game creates a main fear for LSU, replacing the top of their list with last year’s national championship team.
Clemson and Alabama remain in the most sensitive places after a strong start to the season, however, they will be challenged at the convention games next weekend.
