Are you going to a football game from the best school? Here are the TSSAA rules for COVID-19 protection

The Tennessee High School Athletic Association football season begins Friday night with nearly 20 games in the Chattanooga area.

Here is a list of TSSAA’s fitness and protection rules for hosting games during the COVID-19 pandemic:

In each competition, all coaches, players, team staff, officers, directors and fans must monitor their temperature before entering the premises. No user with a temperature of 100.4oC or higher would be supported.

In each contest, the following list of symptom marks deserves to be prominently displayed at the front or front of the spectators, indicating that anyone who has one of those symptoms in the last 7 days deserves not to be admitted: fever, cough, shortness of breath or shortness of breath, tremors. chills, chest pain (pressure or tightness when exercising), exercise fatigue or difficulty, higher central frequency, dizziness, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, painful rash or discoloration of hands or toes.

In competitions in venues where fan participation is allowed, member schools are encouraged to restrict fan participation to a number that allows a sufficiently good social distance (e.g. 1/4 to 0.33 of the typical reception capacity, depending on the characteristics of the venue.) and deserve to mark/designate the stands or seats to publicize the social distance between the spectators. Member schools shall facilitate compliance with any applicable state or local order restricting the duration of collections to participate in public events. In consultation with local fitness providers, member schools in spaces with the highest transmission of the virus deserve other attendance restrictions (e.g., circle of member-only family members or no spectators). Limit casual collection spaces where social distance cannot be maintained.

Member schools will require all enthusiasts to wear face blankets at all times (except for young people under 2) and a social distance (six feet, or the equivalent of two empty seats between them and other enthusiasts) of any other than them. . living in the same home.

Temperature and social distance control needs also apply to members of a school orchestra or aid organization, porrists, or other similar teams of academics participating in a festival as helpers. Due to the growing threat of possible virus transmission activities, the use of school rings at festivals is not recommended. If your organization is present, limit yourself to a part-time role or move the organization from stands to others to have spaces away from crowds and increasing the physical distance between members of the organization. Increase the physical distance between and porr and other people if projected voices are to be used.

The host school is guilty of offering blank staff and disinfecting toilets during competitions.

Concession positions are discouraged as they tend to invite meetings of others close to you.
