Arizona High School Football 2020: Overview, Ratings, Dark Horse: 6A Conference

It’s day-to-day at the time of the pandemic, however, football from the best schools has the green tone of the Arizona Interscolar Association to play, with a maximum of school games starting October 2.

Let’s look at the conferences, one per day, starting with 1A and going all to the open department (Super 10).

Hamilton came closer to beating Chandler than last year, but as much as Hamilton has taken a step forward with three key Colorado transfers, the Wolves are much better.

That’s because a young Chandler team in the first year of coach Rick Garretson as head coach is now an experienced and experienced open division championship organization with Quarterback Mikey Keene, open receivers Jalen Richmond and Kiyon Grayes and offensive part Eli Sanders, and defensive ending Brandon. Buckner leads a fast and fast sports team that is among the most productive in the country.

Again, it will be Hamilton chasing, but the Huskies, the triple Colorado threat of Quarterback Nicco Marchiol, offensive side Noah Schmidt and receiver Jack Howell, continue to reach a fierce defense and offense that deserve to be able to pass and run and control the line of coup.

After Chandler and Hamilton, they’re all in 6A, but they’re all pretty good. There’s more depth, track and box at the high-level convention with Peoria Centennial, Gilbert Williams Field and Queen Creek Casteel from 5A.

These 8 weeks will pass temporarily and furiously with the survival of the maximum capable of passing the pandemic to the Open.

1. Chandler: The Wolves have won 27 consecutive games with a team capable of leading the board.

2. Hamilton: Bigger, faster, stronger and more physically punishing than last year’s team that lost a two-touchdown lead in the last quarter over Chandler.

3. Peoria Centennial: A wonderful combination of track and box that will immediately know how well equipped it is for an Open championship race with an October 2nd to Hamilton.

4. Table Red Mountain: Coach Mike Peterson’s team, the Lions are big at the helm and competent throughout the field.

5. Scottsdale Chaparral: The Firebirds can remind others of the days of the championship when Charlie Ragle worked on the sidelines.

6. Phoenix Pinnacle: QB Devon Dampier received a weapon, a fast and athletic receiver from Minnesota, who can open the offensive.

7. Gilbert Williams Field: The Black Hawks will be relentless in defense with their speed and skill, especially in high school, led by Myles Taylor.

8. Phoenix Mountain Pointe: This is the most advanced team in the state with former assistant Eric Lauer at the school running the program.

9. Queen Creek: QB Devin Brown has a better season with a full season leading the offense. The defense is strong, led by security guards Hunter Barth and Krew Jackson and linebackers Trey and Porter Reynolds.

10. Queen Creek Casteel: The multi-talented athlete Isaiah Newcombe is capable of many things and will be the leader of a strong team that can do a 6A name race.

Mesa Desert Ridge was looking for a chance to play this season after recovering in last year’s 6A playoffs through Red Mountain. This team deserves to be able to run the ball, stopwatch and attack the defense. Coach Jeremy Hathcock’s off-season was looking to prevent players from overreacting.
