Liverpool manager Arne Slot has shed light on Mohamed Salah’s return in pre-season.
The Reds achieved their victory in the United States on Wednesday night. After beating Real Betis in their first match on the other side of the pond, Slot’s team beat Arsenal 2-1.
It’s far from the best performance we’ve seen at Liverpool, but getting a win over the Premier League finalists isn’t usually a bad achievement.
Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool Arsenal and Slot now has a say in the Egyptian.
Salah has been a Liverpool player for many years.
The Egyptian foreigner is one of the main reasons why Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool teams have been so successful. For them, he was and will continue to be a club legend.
Salah looked smart against Arsenal on Wednesday night. The 32-year-old caused all kinds of disruption to Oleksandr Zinchenko, who was guilty of any of Liverpool’s goals.
Liverpool enthusiasts are excited to see how Salah plays with Slot in the 2024/25 Premier League season. The winger looks fit.
Slot asked about him after the win over Arsenal and claimed that the former Chelsea player has a role-playing style for everyone.
He also added that Salah returned to school in very good condition, which Liverpool staff say happens every year.
Slot told the club’s official website: “Yes, but I don’t think it’s just that (a model) for this season: it has been for several years.
“He came back very fit, but from what I was told, it is general for him. He comes back in a wonderful way.
“But if I used Mo as an example, it wouldn’t be fair to others [seniors] because others are strong and also have compatibility.
“One of the most positive things so far is that all the boys are fit, we don’t have any injuries, so we hope we can continue like this and that their fitness point increases more and more. “

When you think about Salah, the first thing that comes to mind is his electric pace, his dribbling and his fatal shots.
All of the above makes Salah the superstar he is, but there’s one trait he’s rarely well known for: his availability.
Salah has been at Liverpool for seven years and is almost available. In the 2023/24 season alone, he missed 10 games due to muscle problems.
Other than that, he rarely misses matches, which makes him reliable.
Slot showed that Salah returned to pre-season in the best shape. This is excellent news for Liverpool fans after their past problems in 2024.
