A Spurs goal teamed up through a Leandro Trossard goal to give Arsenal the victory, and their 43 problems put them on the table. The Gunners are 4 problems for Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

Tottenham’s 11 defeats this season are a low for this level in their history, as their 24 defeats place them in 13th place in the table.

Tottenham coach Ange Postcoglou, he didn’t like the first part of his team, but he can’t repeat what anyone can see: his team is very injured in the rear and had to hire a young goalkeeper early in the window to leave of depression. (Although Antonin Kinsky promises, launching a 21 -year -old to a derby in northern London two weeks after his arrival is not ideal). The fact that Arsenal was not defeated by Bukayo Saka meant that there was hope of maintain . warmth of a derthrough. This is not the right time to be a fan of Spurs, but they are some intelligent physical condition that must be favored in most parties.

Plenty of chances for Arsenal though, Martinelli, Odegaard and others taking too long to get a purposeful kick inside the box.

Huge roars for 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly from the home fans here after some wonderful, determined defending. The 18-year-old is showing so much maturity, strength and his positioning has been really good at left back. Tottenham trying to target him but they can’t get past him.

A wonderful wave of applause here for Sterling, who worked hard but that the ball falls to him in the box. A wonderful Sterling effort that has not played much this season. Martinelli feels like Arsenal’s need closer to this situation. Joy of space enthusiasts when the Brazilian arrived.

Arsenal should have their crucial third goal. Havertz heads straight at Kinsky. Then he and Sterling can’t make the most of Arsenal winning the ball back on the edge of Spurs’ box. Will Arsenal rue these missed chances? The home fans in front of me are not happy with those couple of passages of play.

The home fans kick each and every ball with their players and create a lot of noise. Exactly what Arteta asked for. But there is also a certain nervousness. Arsenal dominates, but only scores 2-1. Tottenham will create at least a few big chances considering their arrogant adjustments at half-time. Arsenal will have to score this third goal.

Another brilliant corner for Arsenal, while the Fouette in the Close to Post and Hvertz only directs it next. This game has been opened. Spurs left for this and Arsenal will have plenty of chances on the counter.

Double substitution for Spurs at half time. Maddison and Johnson on for Sarr and Bissouma. Spurs have gone all-out attack. Bergvall the holding midfielder with Kulusevski alongside him. It’s full Angeball.

What a first half! Spurs chased the run of the game, but Arsenal roared with Gabriel’s header deflected and then Trossard’s low hit them forward.

They turned the stage around! Low shot from Trossard that goes into the back corner. This position has gone crazy. Kinsky will probably do better with this. The noise in this position!

Still, some other goal of a set of sets. Although the corner has been one? The ball was tried last by Trossard before leaving. The corner goes to the back post and Gabriel’s head hits Solanke and went in. What a noise when he came!

Nobody can quite believe Tottenham are ahead! Arsenal were so dominant early on but didn’t take their chances and Spurs have made them pay. Tottenham growing in confidence a little after that goal from Son. Talk about your captain turning up at the big moment. That is just Son’s third goal in his last 12 Premier League games.

Oh wow. That was coming! A corner is cleared to the edge of the box and Heung-min Son’s volley deflects into the bottom corner. After all of that early pressure from Arsenal it’s Tottenham who take the lead.

Djed Spence flies on the left wing and crosses Solanke, but Gabriel makes a very good touch to fall in a corner. Raya then made a bright backup to deny Kulusevski, while the corner falls towards him. Tottenham absolutely replaced but almost marked twice.

The Spurs goalkeeper, Antonin Kinsky, seemed forged at the beginning, but Hvertz grabs it in the ball and almost grabs it. But the Spurs goalkeeper recovers the ball. Fear moment for Tottenham. Here, it is the traffic of a road. Local followers love and inspire their team. Not much noise from the outside.

A brilliant deflection from Arsenal and they are there as the ball opposes Sterling, but Gray gets right to the ball with Kinsky wide of his goal. A few moments later, Odegaard created a possibility with a great film. You fly from Arsenal. They multiply loose kicks and corners in Gogo. Odegaard dictates the tempo. The spurs come out of their part of the ground.

Bukayo Saka is out on the side of the pitch on crutches watching his Arsenal teammates warm up. He is also watching Spurs’ back four warm-up very closely. Such a shame Saka is missing a game this huge due to injury.

The atmosphere is building very nicely here at the Emirates. Music is blaring over the speakers, both sets of players are going through their paces on the pitch and a layer of fog is descending over the top of the stands. It’s all very dramatic. And the game hasn’t even started yet!

It’s a beautiful winter’s night here in North London. You won’t even want to zip your jacket! But it will be big and heated on the pitch when Arsenal and Tottenham clash in a stadium central to both. Can Arsenal recover its name and close the gap on Liverpool? Will the Spurs pull off a big win as their injury-plagued team continues to improve?

The team’s current situation is intriguing with teenager Lewis-Skelly starting at Arsenal’s left back, while Raheem Sterling arrives on the right wing and Gabriel Martinelli is on the bench. Tottenham have opted for their same old back 4 at the moment of Porro, Dragusin, Gray and Spence, while Bergvall starts in a central attacking role with Kulusvski and his son either side supporting Solanke.

The ACL injury that Gabriel Jesus suffered opposite the man united in the FA Cup deserves to stay out of the gates for a while Arsenal are on an attacker in Kai Havertz. Arteta will have to place the right balance: the attack, with Martinelli and Trossard struggling to shape in large part and the pounds of injuries. Don’t be surprised if Arteta tries to play with Jorginho or Declan Rice in a more complex role to see them to pass them and the previous total team on the pitch.

OUT: Gabriel Jesus (ruptured ACL), Bukayo Saka (hamstring – MORE), Ethan Nwaneri (muscular – MORE), Ben White (knee), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) | QUESTIONABLE: Riccardo Calafiori (knee)

Ange Postoccoou’s mosaic looks controlled a difficult start at fifth level Tamworth in the FA Cup on Sunday, but only as they needed extra time. Kulusevski, his son and Solanke started on the bench for this adjustment and will start at Arsenal. Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin have given a couple of pairs and separately in the center, while new archer Antonin Kinsky looks like a forged purchase and has settled in very quickly.

Released: Timo Werner (hamstring-legs), Rodrigo Bentancur (concussion-Plus), Destiny Udogie (thigh), Micky Van de Ven (hamstring-legs), Cristian Romero (Quad), Guglielmo Vicario (ankle-fracture), Wilson Odobert (thigh), Ben Davies (thigh) | Questionable: Fraser Forster (Illness)

This game ends in a draw, and is an intelligent bet here. Arsenal will want to leave and attack and that will leave spur with holes at rest. Since spurs have a more positive feeling about them at this time, pass for a draw. Arsenal 2-2 Tottenham.

Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are suffering from injuries and form as they lost at home to Newcastle and Manchester United in the semi-finals of the League Cup and the third round of the FA Cup in the last week. That new defeat on a penalty after Arsenal played a player for maximum part of the moment and all of the additional time, however, could not find a way to score. Arteta has also noted that injuries continue to pile up and Arsenal’s attacking unit is losing its star in Bukayo Saka and seriously lacking confidence. Those setbacks, they are Liverpool’s top Premier League contenders and can close Liverpool’s hole to just 4 issues with a win. All is not lost, however, the Gunners want a big win to get back on track.

As for Tottenham, Ange Posetcoglou has had to deal with a massive injury crisis to his defensive unit which has seen Spurs slump down the league and a top four finish is now looking unlikely. However, there have been some positive performances from youngsters thrust into the lineup week in, week out in recent weeks and beating Liverpool at home in the League Cup semifinal first leg last week gave Posetcoglou and his players plenty of confidence. If Spurs are going to have a chance of finishing in the top four they really need a big morale-boosting win ahead of a winnable run of games and hopefully getting some key players back from injuries soon.
