Arsenal among the Premier League trio connected to Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara

Recent reports from Italy have given Arsenal a midfielder from AS Roma Amadou Diawara.

Rome acquired Diawara’s from fellow Italian Napoli in the summer of 2019.

The Giallorossi are said to have paid only 19 million pounds for the defensive midfielder.

Since moving to the Italian capital, Diawara has played 38 times in all competitions, a significant component of the 2019/20 crusade has been lost due to injury.

For the most part, however, the 23-year-old has proven to be a forged addition to the base of the Rome midfield.

In turn, given his age and impressive form, it is not too unexpected to hear that Diawara is attracting interest in moving.

Meanwhile, one club that says it should keep a close eye on the African is Arsenal.

A possible exchange agreement between Lucas Torreira and Diawara of Arsenal was promoted during the summer.

Such a decision, of course, was unsuccessful, as the Uruguayan joined Atletico Madrid on loan, while the Gunners turned to Thomas Partey.

At the back of Arsenal Partey’s landing, Maximum assumed that any remaining interest in Diawara would be terminated.

This comes with Mikel Arteta’s team desperately needing one more midfielder.

However, according to a recent report through LaRoma42, quoted through Goal, Arsenal are excited, with Northern Londoners united through West Ham and Leicester in the race for Diawara.

Meanwhile, a payment of only 15 million pounds is potentially enough to attract the midfielder to England.
