In a clash between groups of two countries whose national leagues were disrupted due to maximum levels of coronavirus infections, Israel’s Hapoel Beer-Sheva beat Slavia Prague of the Czech Republic 3-1.
James Tavernier gave Celtic the lead from the penalty point in ’19 before Roofe added his impressive purpose of timing in extra time. Benfica beat Lech Poznan 4-2 in the Group D match.
In Group E, German striker Mario Gotze put PSV ahead in the extra time of the first half before Jorge Molina and Darwin Machis scored for Granada in the part so far. Omonoia tied with PAOK 1-1.
