Arsenal are now among a number of Premier League and Bundesliga clubs keeping an eye on Maximilian Beier, and the TSG Hoffenheim ace is in a position to look for a move this summer.
The 21-year-old is enjoying a remarkable crusade in the German top flight this season. Beier had only played nine Bundesliga games before the 2023/24 season. Still, he has scored 12 goals in 25 games this season and has provided five assists in 1,803 minutes.
Beier has also made all 21 starts of his Bundesliga career this season and is a flexible threat. Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo has sporadically used Hoffenheim’s academy product on his left flank in matches. Beier scored a brace on the flank against Werder Bremen.

Plettenberg hopes Beier’s suitors will soon start concrete negotiations with Hoffenheim. He can even settle for a move and check it out ahead of Euro 2024, which Germany kicks off against Scotland on June 14. Beier will try to impress in friendlies against France and the Netherlands.
Beier, securing a place in the German squad for Euro 2024 would only bolster his credentials in the eyes of Arsenal and others contemplating his departure from Hoffenheim. The youngster is showing what he can offer in the Bundesliga after all, making the step up to the first team.
