According to reports, Jorginho is in conversations with Flamengo to move to the club, Arsenal needs to remain in another season and the midfielder will not settle for his existing proposal.
Jorginho has been an interpreter for Gunners since his participation in 2023. He has accumulated 70 appearances, with 18 this season.
The midfielder six times in the most sensible of the flight and brought the captain’s armband from which he started 3 times, this is Mikel Arteta’s confidence in him.
But reports suggest he’s in talks to leave the club, with Brazilian powerhouses Flamengo and Palmeiras mentioned. Further to that, a report from Brazilian outlet Globo suggests Jorginho is continuing to talk to the former over a move.
It is believed that it is impatient to find a solution, the terms proposed through Flamengo are “out of the question”. The report indicates that Arsenal would like to stay Jorginho for another year: they have the option to extend his contract for a further year.
In addition to the struggle to succeed in a deal on terms with the midfielder, Flamengo have no interest in doing so with Arsenal, and are reportedly hoping the club will “release” Jorginho.
It’s said the only way they will sign him is if he is to join on a free transfer. But Flamengo reportedly want him now, and it seems very unlikely Arsenal would let him leave with six months and maybe longer on his deal, particularly as it’s said they want to extend.

It’s unclear how legitimate the report is, given the latest on Jorginho from England was that Arsenal were being pushed out.
Together with Thomas Party, it has been said that the foreigner of Italy has no compatibility with the long -term vision of Arteta in northern London. This is what has attracted the interest of clubs in Brazil.
If Arsenal don’t need to keep Jorginho, Flamengo’s management to get him will be easier, as they would only have to wait until the end of the season to do so.
That said, they will have to reach an agreement with Jorginho, who wins £ 110,000 per week.
The highest salary of the Brazilian club would be just under £ 60,000 per week, so they now pay the players and what they could want to pay Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta has spoken in the past about the need for depth in its template, and did it after the Arsenal 2-2 draw with Aston Villa, stating that the club is “very short” when you are looking for on the bench.
They seek to raise more fire power at the top, with a report that indicates that they weigh a motion of 70 million pounds sterling for Benjamin Sesko.
Another potential striker signing, Victor Osimhen, has been described as a “risk” due to his attitude, which has come into question previously.
However, a move for Viktor Gyokerres is successful, however, Manchester United expected them to beat the gunners for the signing of the Swedish striker.
