Arsenal enquire over transfer fee for Morgan Sanson with Marseille midfielder being targeted as Guendouzi replacement

The Gunners have done an official investigation into the player, which could be available for 36 million pounds.

Arteta replaces Matteo Guendouzi, who is expected to sell for 20 million pounds this summer.

London rivals Spurs, Newcastle and West Ham are behind the player.

Sanson’s contract will end in 2021.

Arteta has already caught Chelsea star Willian as he rebuilds his team for the season.

Arsenal coach plans to call Atletico Madrid defensive midfielder Thomas Partey.

Sanson, who turns 26 a week, is a defensive midfielder.

Arsenal asked what Marseille was looking for for him.

French journalist Alexis Bernard says the Gunners have conducted an official investigation into the midfield.

Arteta needs it in its central midfield.

The Spaniard is expected to lose Guendouzi, along with Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, who will head to AC Milan.

He helped the team of former Spurs boss Andre-Villas Boas in the French League.

That’s for next season’s Champions League.

Guedouzi’s days in the Emirates have been numbered since confronting Arteta for her dismissal in Brighton.

He told the club he wanted to leave after his breakup with Arteta.

Sanson had scored 20 goals in league starts with Marseille, who signed him from Montpellier in 2017.
