William Saliba and Gabriel were photographed in combination with education for the first time at London Colney on Tuesday, and it is fair to say that Arsenal enthusiasts are quite enthusiastic about their new central defence striker of the 2020/21 campaign.
Saliba, an under-20 foreigner from France, was the first of two to sign for Arsenal, but the 19-year-old was sent back to Saint-Etienne on loan last season.
Mikel Arteta has made the decision to improve his characteristics in the middle of the centre and the Spaniard’s wishes were fulfilled last week when Arsenal signed a 27 million pound contract with Gabriel, 22, with Lille.
Arsenal conceded 48 Premier League goals last season and enthusiasts expect the two newcomers to the club to fix their defense with escapes.
The Gunners begin the season with a clash opposite the newly promoted Fulham in just 4 days and Arteta players have intensified their arrangements arlier than at Craven Cottage.
There were ambitious predictions as stunned enthusiasts first saw Saliba and Gabriel’s education in combination for the first time. Is it possible that these two Arsenal enter a new era under Arteta?
Gabriel, who wore jersey number 6 at Arsenal, is looking to bet on Saliba and is convinced that the young Frenchman has all the qualities of a key player at the club.
“I know Saliba is a young player and if he joins Arsenal it’s because of his quality,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“We have some friends in nothing weird and I’ve already played against him.
“He’s a wonderful player and I’m sure we’ll get along just fine. “
The Brazilian also enjoys the possibility of teaming up with his compatriot David Luiz, whom he idolized as a young man and made his way into the game.
“Certainly David is an example, he’s a player I really appreciate,” Gabriel added.
“I have been a huge admirer of him and all that he has accomplished.
”I’ve been watching him since I was a kid, playing video games with his character and today it’s a dream come true to be here with him and soon to be betting on his ratings. ”
