FANS have slammed the catering at PSV Eindhoven after an Arsenal fan was served a “depressing” sausage.
The Gunners traveled to the Netherlands on Tuesday and drew 1-1 in the final game of their Champions League group.
But enthusiasts were disappointed with the dining options on offer at Philips Stadium.
In fact, one fan served an old, dry sausage on a hamburger bun, with no sauce.
Fans were quick to share it on the popular X Footy Scran account.
One fan said, “If this goes like this, you’ll want to see a doctor. . . “
Another added: “Direct relegation, one hundred points off. “
A third wrote: “Depression in food form.”
And another commented: “Dutch food is just horrible.”
The outrage sparked an outcry from PSV, who tweeted: “A Dutch ? classic. “
Football-related food on the continent has recently come under fire from enthusiasts disgusted by a slice of the Hungarian specialty Zsíros Kenyér sold through Ferencvarosi TC.
Hamburger SV’s Herring sandwich was also met with disgust after a photo was shared on social media.
