Arsenal got a triple boost before kick-off against Manchester City.

NEWS. . . BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Arsenal will have a full list of players available for Sunday’s clash against Manchester City, with several injury concerns to travel.

The Gunners were sweating from the fitness of three players ahead of their clash at the Etihad Stadium, with Gabriel Magalhaes and Bukayo Saka forced to withdraw from service.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli got a foot back earlier this month and missed out on wins against Brentford and Porto.

All three players gave the impression of missing Friday’s training session, and no photos of the trio appeared on Arsenal’s website when they were posted later that evening.

Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who have also been racing to get fit, were spotted taking part in the session.

But it looks like Mikel Arteta will have a full squad to be a part of, with Gabriel, Saka and Martinelli spotted alongside the rest of the squad on Sunday morning in Manchester.

The Gunners take a normal walk around the city before away games and all 3 players were photographed with the group.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone is going to be there, as injured players have already joined the team for away games.

But in fact it looks like Arsenal can call up at least one of the injured players, and Arteta has been positive about his ability to play an opposite role to City.

“There’s a chance [they just play],” Arteta said in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“They didn’t train. Tomorrow we will have consultation, so there is a possibility that they will be available.

Meanwhile, City will be without Kyle Walker and John Stones for the match, with both players being injured while playing for England last week.

Pep Guardiola is also sweating over the fitness of Manuel Akanji, who suffered a knock while playing for Switzerland, but Ederson is “much better” and is expected to play between the sticks again, while Kevin De Bruyne could also be available.
