Arsenal may be looking for a new striker in the winter window. Brentford’s Ivan Toney is a target, while Victor Osimhen has also been linked with the Gunners.
Gabriel Jesus has struggled in front of goal this season, although he has also missed several games due to injury. Eddie Nketiah has fallen out of favour with Mikel Arteta, having failed to start any of the last seven Premier League and Champions League games.
Signing players in January is notoriously difficult, with clubs unwilling to part with their most productive players mid-season. And it seems that Sporting will make it easy for Arsenal.
